After 20 years in business, Equinature is pleased to announce a change in ownership. Christine Taylor, founder of Equinature, has decided to spend time traveling the world.
Equinature’s new owner is Jessica Iorio. Many of you already know Jessica as a participant in the equine community.
Jess grew up north of Boston loving horses from a young age. After graduating from Lake Erie College with a degree in Equine Studies, Jessica worked and trained with Adrienne Iorio at Apple Knoll Farm where she met Christine when Equinature was just starting. Jessica loved the idea of the chemical free products Christine was making, and has been an avid user of Equinature products every since.
Jess has five horses and four children (note the order). She keeps her home and barn without chemicals, using organic essential oils to clean and care for her two legged and four legged family. Jessica is very excited for the opportunity to continue Christine’s work with Equinature!
You can expect the same exceptional products and customer service as before. Equinature will continue to support and be a presence at the area Horse Shows and Events. Please feel free to say “Hi” to Jess when you see her at events!

Equinature All Natural Products are free of any artificial
ingredients, dyes or colors, chemical preservatives, added alcohol or fragrances. Our cleansers are free of lauryl sulfates and are PH balanced. No insecticides and no pesticides are ever used. We make these products in small batches to ensure the potency of the ingredients. And the herbs and plant extracts add valuable therapeutic effects. For our All Natural Skin Balm, pure and natural plant oils, butters, and jojoba are blended together. And our tinctures and liniments are specifically formulated for effectiveness.
In 1997 the Equinature products line was started under the name Body Kneads Muscle Therapy. Products were made for our human clients. The idea was to give them a custom product for their specific needs, taking into consideration allergies and toxic ingredients that were common with off the shelf products. Since many of our clients also owned horses and the products were so well received we were often asked, “Can I use this on my horse too?” and “Can I use this on my dog as well?”
As our products worked so well for our customers, they wanted to share the natural goodness with their horse and dog companions. We started thinking more and more about the needs in the equine and pet industries and now, after establishing the effectiveness of our products for many years, we are proud to have this line of products and to offer it to consumers through retail and online sales.
